Free Inquiry #8 – Final Thoughts

For my last free inquiry post, I would like to reflect back on my free inquiry project and talk about my experience with this project and what I learnt about as this was my first time doing a self directed inquiry project in university. Like I said in my final weekly reflection, I did not set myself up for the best success when it came to this course and this project as I was unable to attend the first two weeks because I was interviewing for my second Disney cultural exchange program so since week one I have felt behind and discouraged. I wanted to do this project on Disney content creation because of my exchange program form last summer and because I was planning on going back again this summer but I was wait listed initially so trying to start this project became even harder for me as I didn’t think I was going to get the chance to go back but I eventually got my offer which definitely made starting this project way easier. When I was waiting to hear back I got into a very negative headspace towards this project but once I got my offer and started my project I actually had a lot of fun researching about content creation. My only goal for this project if I had the chance to do it again would be to start it on time so I could actually do everything I wanted to do for this project because to go along with my research I wanted to post on my Disney instagram page and post all my pictures from my exchange last summer but since I started so late I just focused on the research and created a toolbox for myself when I would’ve have like to do some posting as I would all those pictures posted before I leave for my second program so that’s the only thing I would change and do differently the second time around. Other than that though, I had a lot of fun creating this blog and researching about Disney content creation and I hope this can kickstart my Disney Instagram journey of posting Disney content.
