Free Inquiry #6 – Doing Disney Solo and Finding Confidence
For my next post, I wanted to talk about doing Disney solo as I have done three trips solo now and about to do my fourth and loved them even though they can be lonely at times. I also wanted to look into how to find the confidence to film and take photos on your own as I am a very anxious person and I feel like this is a big road block for me for starting my Disney content creation journey. So I wanted to find some videos on how to build my confidence with content creation. In my past solo trips, I always had trouble having the confidence to take photos of myself unless I’m with my friends so I would love to gain more confidence in my solo photo taking for my upcoming Disney Cultural Exchange Program. To begin my research, I looked at Part of Brooks World on youtube who I follow both on Instagram and Youtube as she has a whole Solo Disney Series on her channel so I found some good videos on her channel. One video that I want to highlight in this post is her video all about Solo Disney Trips as she went over everything you need to know for solo trips, so I am going to link that video below. I also found a few more videos that I am also going to link below as I found them helpful.
As for finding the confidence to be a content creator I found this really good video on youtube called “Confidence tips creator need to hear” and here is what she said: firstly she said that confidence is a choice that becomes a feeling, basically you and only you can make yourself confident. So, how to do this you ask, she said to start telling yourself a new story about yourself. She then went on a listed some questions to ask yourself to help build your new story. She then went on and talked about more tips for building your confidence and ended her video by saying that confidence is a journey. I am definitely gonna start brainstorming about this new story of mine to start on this confidence journey in both my real life and my content creation.
